Liv-ex 50 reaches new six-and-a-half-year high
Margaux 2015 most active wine
A weaker pound helped to lift trade to a four week high. Bordeaux’s trade share rose to 63.8% thanks to increased First Growth activity including this week’s most active wine, Margaux 2015. Burgundy’s share remained steady, due to continued trading of Domaine Leroy.
Rhone’s market share rose as Jeb Dunnuck released his updated scores for the Southern Rhone 2016 vintage. He awarded 100 points to 14 wines in total, including one of this week’s most traded wines Clos Papes, Chateauneuf du Pape 2016.
